The Corruption of Gothmog

Fanart Project: Morgoth's corrupted flame, Gothmog, High Captain of Angband, Lord of the Balrogs! It all started when I caught chicken pox (for the 2th time) and jumped into ZBrush to sculpt the itching away. Started small but soon, this crazy project was born. Sculpted most of it by hand except for the highest frequency details of the surface. The ultimate goal is to print that one on my Ender 3, cast it, paint in black the opaque parts, light it up from the inside with LEDs and put it on my wall! Doing some tests now with a new 0.2mm nozzle (instead of the standard 0.4mm).
